Geeked Week is over, and we know 10 new free games are coming to Netflix.
Not simply happy with dropping news for animated adaptations for the likes of The Witcher, Netflix used Geeked Week to confirm a library of new games coming to subscribers. After a week of teasers, trailers and news, Netflix used its annual round of fandom to confirm that 10 new games are coming to free games library. Subscribers will soon unlock access to the likes of Braid, Anniversary Edition, Supergiant’s Hades, Justin Stander’s Katana Zero, and more.
The streaming giant also confirmed that a range of new tales, spawned form Netflix series will unlock for subscribers. Players will be able to unlock new adventures tied to popular shows. This includes Shadow & Bone, Chicken Run, and The Dragon Prince games all available for free.
Netflix dropped trailers for all the newly announced games, with 3 of the titles already available right now. To access them, just download the Netflix app and log in with a paid subscription. Much like the new Crunchyroll games vault, players will be able to download and play the current and upcoming titles without any wallet gouging microtransactions. While the cost of keeping your streaming subscription going is going up all over the internet, this news means you might be able to squeeze a little more value out the offerings.
