Developer HoYoverse has been on hand for the Genshin Impact Version 3.6 “A Parade of Providence” special program, during which the players got to learn about the upcoming banners, events, gameplay additions and more. To celebrate the occasion, the team also shared the special trailer that you can find above.

Here’s what awaits players in Genshin Impact Version 3.6:
- Version 3.6 Phase I (April 12 – May 2): Nahida (Dendro Catalyst) & Nilou (Hydro Sword), 4-stars currently unknown;
- Version 3.6 Phase II (May 2 – May 23): Ganyu (Cryo Bow) & Baizhu (new Dendro Catalyst) + new 4-star Dendro Claymore Kaveh;
- The rest of the 4-stars as well as the full content of the weapon banners are currently unknown, stay tuned!
Baizhu is the owner of Bubu Pharmacy, who is rarely seen without the white snake named Changsheng. His medicinal knowledge is encyclopedic, and his personal intrigues subtle. Meanwhile, Kaveh is a renowned architect from Sumeru who perhaps cares a bit too much about too many things. He is an aesthete troubled by reality.
The weapon banners will feature the signature 5-star weapons that belong to the respective character, including the new Catalyst Jadefall’s Splendor.

Players will be able to set out to and explore the new area. Legend has it that in the depths of the boundless desert lies a forbidden realm where few have ever set foot. Beneath the barren wasteland, along with the ruins of an ancient civilization and the legacy of the divine, only a hidden lost Darshan and mythical creatures safeguard the long-sealed memories…
The new area is the home to two new bosses: the Dendro dragon and the fearsome new Abyss Lector that wields three elements at once (Cryo, Electro & Pyro). Expect to encounter the latter on your way to 36-starring the Abyss at some point! Additionally, Travelers will have to take on new Hilichurl enemies.
Genshin Impact Version 3.6 Events:
This Version’s flagship event is Sumeru’s Akademiya Extravaganza that pits the six Darshan against one another. Being a momentous celebration for the Akademiya, this year’s Extravaganza is extra lively. With competitions and amusements aplenty, meet with people from al across Teyvat and join in a time of revelry.
It is also a great chance for you to earn Primogems, a Crown of Insight, and even a free Faruzan for your Wanderer/Xiao/Heizou! The event will feature six mini-games, led by the respective Darshan. Each Darshan also has its own representative:
- Spantamad: Cyno
- Kshahrewar: Kaveh
- Haravatat: Faruzan
- Amurta: Tighnari
- Rtawahist: Layla
- Vahumana: ??? However, considering that in the trailer Wanderer was fighting against the other representatives, HoYoverse left quite a clue to the identity of the last representative.
Other 3.6 Events & Additions Include:
- Brewing Developments event – you and Paimon meet a certain strange student by the Wall of Samiel. She seems to be trying to test some kind of mysterious creation…
- Fulminating Sandstorm event– in response to the inexplicable dangers lurking amidst the sands, the Akademiya seeks to repel the threat using machines. You encounter an anxious researcher near Aaru Village…
- The Recollector’s Path event – though a dazzling title is appealing, a noble character of stalwart virtue is indispensable when faced with the totality of challenges. Therefore, trials must be undertaken to fully understand Sorush’s responsibilities…
- New Artifact Sets: Nymph’s Dream & Vourukasha’s Glow
- Baizhu’s Story Quest Lagenaria Chapter: Act I
- Nahida’s Story Quest Sapientia Orimasdis Chapter: Act II
