The developers of anime action RPG Genshin Impact held the special program to bring players up to speed on all things coming in Version 3.8. The update will be rolling out on July 5th, bringing along new banners, limited-time area, events and skins. Check out the trailer above to get properly hyped!

HERE’S WHAT AWAITS PLAYERS IN GENSHIN IMPACT VERSION 3.8:
After 84 years in HoYoverse’s basement, 5-star Cryo Claymore Eula Lawrence makes a comeback to get her vengeance. She servers as the captain of the Reconnaissance Company with the Knights of Favonius and the game’s unique Physical DPS. Players will also be able to spend their hard-earned primogems on adorable Klee (Pyro Catalyst), Sangonomiya Kokomi (Hydro Catalyst) and Wanderer (Anemo Catalyst). The Catalyst Impact strikes again!
- Version 3.8 Phase I – Eula (Cryo Claymore) & Klee (Pyro Catalyst); The limited Claymore Song of Broken Pines makes a comeback as well!
- Version 3.8 Phase II – Kokomi (Hydro Catalyst) & Wanderer (Anemo Catalyst). The weapon banner will feature their signature 5-star weapons: Everlasting Moonglow & Tulaytullah’s Remembrance.

Another highly special addition is the introduction of new skins for Klee and Kaeya! If you have wanted to dress up the Sparkle Knight and the Cavalry Captain, look no further.
Adorable Klee decided to follow in her mother Alice’s footsteps and dressed up as a little witch. Blossoming Starlight is an exquisite outfit that Klee wears only for the most important performances. The colors are brilliant, like a cake adorned with cream and crowned with scarlet candles. With it comes happiness and smiles that will fill your adventures.
Kaeya’s outfit Sailwind Shadow is from his role as the “Dagger Bandit” in the play. Though flamboyant and designed to be as eye-catching as possible, it isn’t difficult to put on, though it does take some time to get all the accessories and daggers sorted. The pirate grandpa would be proud.

GENSHIN IMPACT VERSION 3.8 EVENTS:
The flagship event of Version 3.8 is titled Secret Summer Paradise. The searing summer sun envelops the earth, and at Paimon’s suggestion, you return to the Knights of Favonius headquarters. There, you learn by chance of an astounding occurrence. The curtains are about to rise upon a most special adventure…
Players will be able to explore the new location, take part in a variety of mini-games such as the Spino Blaster, Sojourns of the Barking Fox, Dance of Flashing Thought & Bing Bang Finchball to earn some awesome in-game rewards in the process. Those include Primogems, a Crown of Insight, Sailwind Shadow skin for Kaeya and a free copy of Layla (4-star Cryo Sword).
OTHER 3.8 EVENTS & ADDITIONS INCLUDE:
- Shared Sight – Assist the Amurta researcher who is collecting experimental data by using an item called an Inscribed Mirror. Find and recover small animals that have connected to the item to complete said experiment.
- Perilous Expedition – An adventurer from Liyue seems to have encountered some trouble while studying geography and hydrology of Sumeru for the Adventurers’ Guild. Help him explore the dangerous areas to complete the map!
- Adventurer’s Trials: Advanced – The Branch Master of Mondstadt’s Adventurers’ Guild, Cyrus, has set up numerous stages to train the reaction, agility and strength of new Adventurers. Only those who pass these stages are qualified to be Adventurers! But can anyone actually get through them?..
