Developer HoYoverse has taken to the official site of anime action-adventure Genshin Impact to reveal what awaits Travelers in Version 4.5. In addition to the usual banners preview & events highlights, the developers have also revealed more details about the new banner type. Chronicled Wish debuts in Version 4.5 Phase 1.
First things first: new banners so that you can allocate your Primogem stash contents accordingly. Chiori, the latest 5-star Geo Sword character, has her first rate-up banner in the first half of the upcoming version. She is running alongside Arataki Itto, a 5-star Geo Claymore. They are accompanied by Gorou (Geo Bow), Yun Jin (Geo Polearm) & Dori (Electro Claymore). If you were looking to build or expand your Geo team, there will likely be no better banner to do so in the near future.
Genshin Impact – Version 4.5 Phase 1 Banners:
- When: March 13 – April 2nd
- 5-stars: Chiori & Arataki Itto
- 4-stars: Gorou, Yun Jin, Dori
The weapon banner features the respective signature weapons: Uraku Misugiri (Sword) & Redhorn Stonethresher (Claymore). The featured 4-stars include: The Alley Flash (Sword) and Alley Hunter (Bow), The Bell (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), and Favonius Codex (Catalyst).
Chronicled Wish – Ode to the Dawn Breeze:
- When: March 13 – April 2
- 5-star characters (Limited): Eula (Cryo Claymore), Albedo (Geo Sword), Klee (Pyro Catalyst),
- 5-star characters (Standard): Mona (Hydro Catalyst), Diluc (Pyro Claymore), Jean (Anemo Sword)
- 5-star weapons (Limited): Beacon of the Reed Sea (Claymore), Song of Broken Pines (Claymore), Hunter’s Path (Bow)
This banner features both characters AND weapons. Travelers will be able to take advantage of “Chronicled Path” by selecting a 5-star character or weapon from the list. If the Designated Item is a character, the 5-star items you can obtain in the Wish will all be characters; whereas if the Designated Item is a weapon, the 5-star items you can obtain in the Wish will all be weapons.
It takes a maximum of 90 wishes conducted to secure a 5-star item through the guarantee system. There is a 50% chance that it will be the designated item. If you’ve lost the 50/50, you receive a Fate Point. After that, the next item you obtain through this Wish is guaranteed to be the one you’ve Designated. Genshin Impact Version 4.5 Phase 1 – In-Game Events Include:
- Flagship Event Alchemical Ascension (March 14 – April 1). During the event, cultivate ingredients, concoct potions and sell them to gain revenue from your business. Awards event-exclusive 4-star Polearm Dialogues of the Desert Sages and its exclusive Refinement Materials, Primogems, Crown of Insight and, other rewards.
- The Great Fayz Reaction Debate (March 22 – April 3). Jami as once again encountered trouble. As such, he has adopted more efficient enhancement measures and is waiting for the right person to help verify his work.
- Chiori’s Story Quest Cisoria Chapter. Requires AR40 or above and completion of Archon Quest “Masquerade of the Guilty”.
- Lynette Hangout Event. Requires AR40 or above and completion of Archon Quest “Masquerade of the Guilty” as well as Furina’s Story Quest.
