Rockstar has announced the start date for Drug Wars in Grand Theft Auto Online. Players can look forward to engaging in Los Santos Drug Wars starting December 13th. The new content, a “new psychoactive strain of chaos,” will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Players will head off to Blaine County to join up with Nervous Ron, a well-known character in the GTAO universe. He’s formed a new band of out-of-state misfits who are on a mission “to put their stamp on the Los Santos psychedelics trade.” Players will have to fight off wealthy hippies and trigger-happy bikers. Along the way they’ll need to cook up their own hallucinogenics in elaborate labs or, weirdly, in a massive rolling chemistry set. Developers are promising that this is the first chapter of “an expansive two-part story update for GTAO.”
Los Santos Drug Wars contains a range of wild side effects, including a new business enterprise to operate. In addition, look for new vehicles and missions, and experiential upgrades. And this is just the first dose. Players need to be prepared for lots more exciting events. These may include jolly holiday hijinks, significant story and gameplay updates, and much more to come.

Grand Theft Auto V for PC also includes Grand Theft Auto Online, with support for 30 players and two spectators.
