Last week an enthusiast named InfernoPlus created a browser Battle Royale based on Super Mario Bros. that he titled Mario Royale. In the video he has made accompanying the release of the game, the YouTuber has joked about possibly receiving a scolding from Nintendo. And Nintendo delivered.

At first, InfernoPlus has remade the game, removing all Mario-related elements such as sounds, level design, characters and so forth. The new project received a title of DMCA Royale (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) but, unfortunately, Nintendo was not pleased with the remake.
