Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Got Update 2.1.5m

Developer Owlcat Games rolled out a new update for cRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. The latest update 2.1.5m fixed certain problems and bugs in the main game and the DLC content alike. Note that this is quite the chunky download, so manage your updates accordingly.

“Patch 2.1.5m weighs about 26 GB if you have purchased all DLCs, if you do not have DLCs — the patch weighs about 18 GB. We apologize for any inconvenience. This patch weight is due to future releases of DLCs and further work on the game. We hope for your understanding.”

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Update 2.1.5m Highlights

  • Some locations in Through the Ashes and The Treasure of the Midnight Isles DLCs have been optimized;
  • When saving on the flying platforms of the mage tower in Alushinyrra, companions could be stuck on one of the platforms — fixed;
  • Trying to talk to Ramien when he goes to the Defender’s Heart resulted to freeze — fixed;
  • The Treasure of the Midnight Isles quest could stay in the journal after completing the DLC — fixed;
  • Changed one of the triggers for Lann’s romance. Now, picking a friendly option during the conversation in the commander’s tent no longer sets the romance flag. It’s still possible to start the romance via the flirty option, or by indicating your interest in Lann during the conversations about his parents or Wenduag;

Owlcat Games also planned to implement a 3rd party service named Appsflyer — an industry standard tracking solution for user acquisition for computer and mobile games. However, the community outcry caused the developers to change their minds and roll that addition back:

  • Appsflyer is completely removed from the game and all collected data is deleted;
  • EULA restored to the previous version. Any reverse is also a change, so the team asks you to accept the EULA again.

Thank you for waiting, now you may play the game without any concerns, as you used to. We hope that the whole situation will not affect your impression of the game. We deeply appreciate your support and we thank you for the honest feedback!
