Super Mario Bros Movie posters have arrived online ahead of the latest trailer for Nintendo’s movie in an apparent leak.
Nintendo is likely going to be calling a plumber because the Super Mario Movie has sprung a leak. It appears that posters have made their way online for the upcoming Super Mario Bros Movie, giving us a new look at the title characters and some of the headlining characters.
While this could be a fan-based mock-up, the general consensus among the fanbase is that these look likely to be the real deal. Originating on 4-Chan, as far as we can tell, a title poster featuring Nintendo’s first brothers, the big bad, Princes Peach, and Toad is one of the more interesting. It gives a feel for the overall animation and a first look at some of the characters. Additional teaser graphics and logos can be found in social media threads, including one of the two brothers and their van, which has previously featured as part of the movie’s merchandising line. In addition to the leaky situation that Nintendo’s lawyers are no doubt clamoring to deal with, an official reveals of the latest Super Mario Bros movie trailer will drop today, 29 December, as part of a special Nintendo Direct. The premiere will happen at 2 PM PT and fans can watch the chaos ensue soon right here.
For those who missed the hype on earlier announcements, The Super Marion Bros Movie is an Animated adaptation of the iconic Nintendo video game series. Coming out of the Universal Studios stable, and likely benefitting from their DreamWorks team, the voices of Chris Pratt Anya Taylor-Joy Charlie Day, and Jack Black are just some of the headliners, and if you look closely in the leaked images, you might even spot a few unexpected familiar faces.
