THE FINALS Open Beta Weekend Invites Everyone to the Ultimate Combat Entertainment Game

THE FINALS Open Beta Weekend Invites Players to the "Ultimate Combat Entertainment Game"

Embark Studios is excited to have the world check out THE FINALS and invites everyone in for a free play event. From now through November 5th, players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam can download and play what is called “the ultimate combat entertainment game.” Ultimately, the game will launch as a free-to-play, team-based shooter that “pushes environmental dynamism, destruction, and player freedom” to their limits. The free-play event gives potential combatants a chance to put that claim to the test.

Developers have encapsulated some of the frenetic action in the game thanks to a new trailer. Viewers will get a peek at gameplay mechanics, customization options, and much more.

The game aims to provide competitive teams and players with a venue to fight for fame, riches, and seasonal sponsors. According to the dev team, the action is set in “hyper-realistic, fully destructible virtual arenas inspired by real-world locations.”

Many new features and improvements have been implemented for open beta testing. The goal of the testing period is to validate those improvements and changes and to stress test the game’s server structure.

Open beta features
