Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader Unveiled Collector's Edition

Developer Owlcat Games has taken to the official site to unveil the physical Collector’s Edition for the upcoming turn-based cRPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. The Collector’s Edition price sits at solid $299 and includes a variety of both physical and digital goods for the lovers of Warhammer, cRPGs and Owlcat Games.

Together with the physical items you will receive a digital version of the game (matching that of the Developer’s Digital Pack) in a selected store with the pack of various in-game goodies and access to Alpha and Beta versions. Also, there is an option to upgrade a previously bought pack to the Collector’s edition if you already got one of the Founder’s Packs.

Let’s take a closer look at the contents of the edition:

  • Cassia Statue (8in/20cm) – An exclusive 8-inch collectible figure of Cassia Orsellio, Navigator and noble companion of the Rogue Trader. Although Cassia looks youthful, her extraordinary powers strengthen the party immensely.
  • Art Book – Read about the creation of the game and see the concept art and final hi-res artwork for characters, environments, and various equipment in this hardcover art book.
  • Warrant of Trade  – The Imperial Warrant of Trade describes and sanctions the solemn duties and immense privileges of a Rogue Trader and their descendants.
  • Sticker Pack  – “Fight for the Imperium”, “Success / Prosperity”, “Your Emperor Needs You!” – you will find these and other atmospheric slogans on sticker replicas of Imperial propaganda posters. Look out for the posters in various in-game locations and decorate your possessions with the matching sticker set.
  • Rogue Trader Cloth Banner – This large banner is made from thick fabric and is a close replica of the coat of arms of House von Valancius

Previously, the developers have shared the first gameplay trailer as well as the second dev diary, allowing players to sneak a peek at what is happening in the Koronus Expanse.

Despite being considered al backwater of the Imperium, this region encompasses an enormous stretch of the void filled with prodigious opportunities for profit and exploration. What will you do when you discover heresy and deceit?
