With World of Warcraft: Dragonflight – Guardians of the Dream update drawing ever closer, developer Blizzard Entertainment continues to hype up the community with the promises of things to come. Let’s check out what awaits heroes of Azeroth on November 7th and beyond!
First things first, Blizzard rolled out a new in-game cutscene titled “A Crown of Flame”. If you wondered about Fyrakk’s plans and how they are tied to the Druids of the Flame, the cutscene will provide you some answers. The video also gives glimpses of many other important characters and what they are doing in the Dream.
“Fyrakk, roiling with untamed fury, has conscripted the Druids of the Flame to his cause. As he prepares to tear into the Emerald Dream by force to claim his prize, the Dragon Aspects rally with Tyrande and the night elves for one last stand to defend the World Tree Amirdrassil and protect its boughs from the vengeful zealots of the living flame.”
Speaking of the Emerald Dream, the new blog post outlines this tranquil zone. For centuries, the Green Dragonflight protected it from the Old Gods, the Burning Legion, and other threats. Yet now it is vulnerable to the new threat. Enter the Dream to explore new locations and meet the Keepers of the Grove, Dryads, Moonkin and Wild Gods alike.
The update also introduces new customization options for the Blood Elf race and the Druid class. New patch, new me! On the gear customization and progression side, Blizzard also outlined the improvements coming to the system.
Additionally, Blizzard revealed a couple of special WoW offers:
