Blizzard Entertainment, the developer studio behind MMORPG World of Warcraft, has unwrapped the latest mount players can get for active 6-month subscription: Nether-Gorged Greatwyrm, a giant version of the manawyrm that lost its arcane to a Blood Elf in The Burning Crusade intro cinematic.
“The Nether-Gorged Greatwyrm will carry you to the far-off horizons of whatever plane of existence your adventures take you. Embark on an electrifying journey and discover new sources of delicious arcane power along the way.”
Glide through the nether on this gluttonous mount when you purchase directly from in-game or the Blizzard Shop, or receive it at no additional charge with a 6-Month Subscription. Interesting to note that the Greatwyrm aesthetic directly matches the Blood Elf Heritage Armor. Updated Silvermoon when?
In addition to the mount, players with an active 6-month subscription will also receive the Tabard of Flame. The item can be redeemed by accepting a special quest from Innkeepers in any capital city, as well as Landro Longshot in Booty Bay. The quest is available for all Burning Crusade Classic characters attached to a single regional Battle.net account.
Note: the mount is not available for the TBC characters while the tabard is available for the TBC characters only, it doesn’t transfer to your retail characters.
