WoW Dragonflight - Content Update 10.0.5 Is Now Live

Developer Blizzard Entertainment released the first content update for MMORPG World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, initially revealed alongside the WoW 2023 Roadmap. Among other things, the patch introduces the exciting Trading Post feature which will kick off on February 1st.

Trading Post is WoW’s take on the Battle Pass, allowing players to acquire cosmetic transmogs, pets and mounts. To obtain these unique cosmetic items, you will need to acquire a new account-wide currency called “Trader’s Tender.” This can be earned in two ways:

  • Automatically each month: Just by logging in and heading to the Trading Post, you can collect 500 Trader’s Tender every month from a chest called the Collector’s Cache.
  • By completing monthly activities in the Traveler’s Log: a monthly set of activities provides the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender.

But that is not all! Transmog enthusiasts will be happy to know that Update 10.0.5 introduced the option to use Common (white) and Poor (grey) quality items for transmog.

WoW is also receiving a new in-game event: The Storm’s Fury. The Storm’s Fury event will spin up every five hours. When it’s active, players can access the Primalist Future through a portal at the Temporal Conflux in Thaldraszuz, where they can battle against the bolstered might of the Primalists to earn Essence of the Storm. This new currency can be exchanged for rewards like the Skyskin Hornstrider mount or the Time-Lost Vorquin Foal pet.
