Developer Blizzard Entertainment has taken to the official site of MMORPG World of Warcraft: Dragonflight to provide players with an update regarding the Trading Post items. In addition to the August selection, the team also shared the upcoming Class Sets & weapons.
The August selection of the Trading Post items is hot indeed. Bones of the Bloodhunter bonus reward, a trio of mounts, a new pet and much more. Check some notable additions down below or proceed to the official site to see them all!
- Mounts: Alabaster Thunderwing, Alabaster Stormtalon, Ancestral Clefthoof (650 Trader’s Tender each);
- Pet: Spirit of Competition (650 Trader’s Tender);
- Toy: Ethereal Transmogrifier (500 Trader’s Tender);
- Head: Crown of Eternal Winter, Hood of Hungering Darkness (400 Trader’s Tender each).
The star of this month selection is the Ensemble: Bones of the Bloodhunter transmog set. It is available as the bonus reward for completing activities to fill the bar at the top of the Traveler’s Log. To obtain the rest of these cosmetic items, you will need to acquire account-wide currency called “Trader’s Tender.” This can be earned in two ways:
- Automatically each month: Just by logging in and heading to the Trading Post, you can collect 500 Trader’s Tender every month from a chest called the Collector’s Cache.
- By completing monthly activities in the Traveler’s Log: a monthly set of activities provides the opportunity to earn up to 500 additional Trader’s Tender.
Before the month comes to an end, if you haven’t purchased that one “must-have” item yet, don’t worry. You can “freeze” an item so you can purchase it later. When you freeze an item, it will stay available month over month until it is purchased or replaced. If this month’s offerings didn’t have the items you wanted, you can hang on to your Trader’s Tender to spend later. It won’t go anywhere, and unspent Tender will continue to accumulate each month.
Additionally, Blizzard revealed new Class Sets coming to the Trading Post in the coming months. Beginning with the month of September and each month through December, the Trading Post will be introducing new transmogs sets and new transmog weapon sets specific to each class. Each armor set comes with three pieces: helm, shoulder, and belt, and each weapon set comes with 3 weapons to match each discipline. The exception being Druids (4 weapons) and Demon Hunters (2 weapons).
You’ll be able to purchase these items with any class character to add to your transmog collection. Keep in mind that only the intended class will be able to use the armor set transmogs and weapon set transmogs. Armor sets will be available to purchase for 450 Trader’s Tender each, and weapon sets will be available to purchase for 500 Trader’s Tender each.
- September: Paladin, Priest, Rogue
- October: Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Druid
- November: Warlock, Monk, Warrior
- December: Evoker, Hunter, Mage, Shaman
