The developers of the upcoming League of Legends 2v2 tag-based fighting have decided on a name: 2XKO. The game was previously revealed only under the codename Project L. To properly celebrate the name day, the team shared two new videos: a minute-long gameplay teaser you can find above as well as a developer message.
The teaser shows an intense fight between Ahri, Ekko, Yasuo and Darius against the backdrop of a tavern in Bilgewater, with Illaoi and her infamous weapon making an impressive appearance at the very end. The second video also features stages set in Ionia, Piltover/Zaun
The 2XKO Year-in-Preview 2024 video gives viewers a chance to sneak a peek behind the scene. Executive Producer Tom Cannon explained how things have changed over the last year, and what kind of work still waits ahead. The devs will be popping up with a playable demo in a bunch of places across the world.
2023 was all about being in heads-down mode with a valuable check in at Evo. 2024, however, will be about getting the community involved with events, updates. and maybe even some at-home playtesting later this year.
The team aims to launch in 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S & PC. Proceed to the official site and sign-up for testing to be among the first to try out this beauty for yourself.
