Action RPG fans take note: Shadows: Awakening from Developer Games Farm has launched globally on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Grab your gear and head into the dark fantasy world of Heretic Kingdoms on an adventure that will take you between realms. Players will take on the role of the Devourer, a demon brought to the world from the Shadow Realm. Controlling the souls of deceased heroes, you will venture forth and unlock the secrets of the Heretic Kingdoms.
The game features a different approach to the traditional class system opting instead to have the player create a party of heroes that can be used to offer the player a variety of abilities in combat. As you venture through the game you will be given choices that help drive the game towards multiple outcomes based on your choices. Heroes themselves can be found in the world and it is up to you as the player to decide who to choose and who to set aside.
Shadows: Awakening is promising 20 plus hours of single-player gameplay. With so many heroes and options available, however, the game can take up to 60 plus hour to experience all that it has to offer. With a full looting and crafting system, unique party experience and a wide variety of heroes and skills to work with Shadows: Awakening has a lot of offer Action RPG fans.
