Developer Legendary Star Studio and publisher NetEase Games took to the Steam page of the upcoming post-apocalyptic shooter MMORPG Ashfall to share sad news. According to the latest blog post, the release date of the game has been postponed to Summer 2024. The team shared a lengthy message to apologize for the community. It also contains the reasons for the delay:
“We understand that it’s never easy to hear that a game’s release date has been delayed, but we want to ensure that we deliver the best possible experience to our players. This additional time will allow us to polish and refine the game, resulting in a richer and more engaging gaming experience for all our players.
To achieve this, we will be conducting several beta tests in the lead up to Ashfall’s release and we welcome all Wanderers to participate and share their valuable feedback with us. This feedback will help us improve and refine the game, ensuring that we deliver an exceptional gaming experience that lives up to your expectations. Thus we would like to invite all Wanders to sign up for the upcoming Closed Beta Test in July.”
