Assassin’s Creed Origins to release ‘Educational Mode’ on February 20th

History buffs are in for a treat on February 20th, 2018 due to a recent announcement by Ubisoft.  A free title update for Assassin’s Creed Origins will introduce a Discovery Tour mode of game play.  According to their blog post “the Discovery Tour is an educational experience that allows players to free-roam Ancient Egypt and learn more about its history.”

In Discovery Tour mode players will be able to free-roam Ubisoft’s gigantic Egyptian map to learn more about the daily life of citizens and history of Egypt.  The developers created this mode in tandem with historians and Egyptologists to be historically accurate and free of conflict and time or game constraints.  There will be 75 tours in total ranging from 5 to 25 minutes in five different themes: Egypt, Pyramids, Alexandria, Romans and daily life.
