Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Deck 13 have announced that the release date of the upcoming action RPG Atlas Fallen has been moved to August 10th, with the initial plan being to launch the game in May.

To explain the reasons for the delay, the team shared a lengthy letter that you can find below. In short, to create the best possible version of Atlas Fallen, the team needs a bit more time. There will be more updates on the game in early summer, including new gameplay footage and the first look at drop-in co-op gameplay, so stay tuned!

“Our goal has always been to create a memorable A-RPG experience in a unique setting, with exciting gameplay and the option for fully playable seamless co-op with a friend. We’d love to give the game some extra time which will allow us to deliver the best possible version of Atlas Fallen.”
