Larian Studios, the developer of turn-based cRPG Baldur’s Gate 3, has taken to Twitter to share even more exciting stats about the game. How many players have completed the game? How often did they die? And, most importantly, who did they romance? The new numbers have it all.
Since the release of the game in August, 1.3 million players have completed this journey – and almost all of them found out what it’s like to be transformed into sentient cheese wheel. 94% of players have created a custom characters and spent over 8000 years in character creator collectively to make their Tavs and Durges just right. The most popular race is Elf while the most popular class is the Paladin.
Meanwhile, Gale remains the most played Origin character, closely followed by Astarion. However, it is god’s favorite princess and the most interesting girl in the world, Shadowheart, who is the most popular romantic interest.

Baldur’s Gate 3 recently received a massive Patch 5 that added a tsunami of content to the game. Additionally, Hotfix #12 is now available as well:
- Fixed a crash that could occur when joining with a second controller and activating split-screen in certain places.
- Fixed a crash occurring in certain spots in the game (For example, when speaking in certain conditions to Cazardor, or Thisobald Thorm)
