This trailer’s old by the Internet standards, but sue me. It’s a good look at Super Mario Odyssey, due out late this year for the Nintendo Switch. Plus, I just wanted to fill out our game hub for Odyssey a bit. Jeeze, it’s always something with you people.
Anyway, this was shared during the Switch info blitz back in January, and it really gives me the good vibes of Mario Galaxy meets Super Mario 64. Here’s hoping the whole game is as good as the NYC world looks.
What is Super Mario Odyssey all about and why is he in New York City?
Like so many Mario games, Peach gets herself in trouble again. Don’t worry, it’s probably Bowser’s fault. He takes her from world to world, but this time not just in the Mushroom Kingdom. He’s also taking her to outside worlds, which explains why part of SMO takes place in New York. Super Mario Odyssey is due to launch as part of the Switch’s holiday lineup.
