Rogue Spirit is out now, giving players an opportunity to reclaim your kingdom in death.
Available now on PC, via Steam, Xbox Series S|X, and PlayStation 5, Rogue Spirit is an interesting new anime adventure that puts something of a twist on the idea of permadeath. While many games might reach their natural conclusion with ‘YOU DIED’, t it’s only the beginning for this tale. Set in a kingdom that has fallen foul of an evil conqueror, players picking up Rogue Spirit will play as the ghost of the prince of the Kingdom of Midra. After this peaceful kingdom fell to the armies of chaos, it’s up to the dead to seek vengeance.
Using other worldly powers, the prince can stalk the open fields and overrun villages, possessing the invading hordes and using their abilities against each other. As you absorb the combat capabilities of each enemy soldier, you’ll be able to master a range of different playstyles, and push back the night in a range of different ways. Between this 3D rogue-lite action, a stealthy approach is necessary to make sure you can take control of all the enemy mobs. 18 different characters, with unique abilities await across 10 procedurally generated levels, all animated in a distinctive anime aesthetic.
