In July, developer and publisher Ubisoft held a lengthy digital presentation dedicated to the upcoming pirate-themed action experience Skull and Bones. During the event, the company revealed the date when the age of piracy begins: November 8, with the game arriving on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia and PC.
At the end of the 17th century, tales of a legendary heist attracted young outcasts from all over the world. In search of untold fortunes, ordinary men and women headed far from home. Armed with only their instincts to survive, they risked it all for a chance to attain immeasurable riches.
To bring players up to speed on building their sea legs, Ubisoft shared the first in the series Ship Log, dedicated to weapons and armor of your vessel. The video also gives a glimpse into the naval battles and combat tactics – including boarding the enemy to steal their loot.
Of course, it won’t be much of a pirate adventure if there weren’t other pirates around! Multiplayer is an important part of Skull and Bones, allowing wolves of the sea to form packs with other players across different platforms. If you are up for challenge, you can enable PvP, otherwise you can always play PvE only.
