Foreclosed Trailer Surfaces At The Golden Joysticks

Foreclosed is coming. A new trailer for the incoming cyberpunk adventure has just appeared and it gives us all a glimpse of a dangerous dystopia.

Anybody who had an opportunity to kick back and watch the Golden Joystick Awards last night might have caught a treat or two. Alongside the socially distanced speeches and shiny new peripherals, narrative cyberpunk adventure Foreclosed had an opportunity to shine. Developer Antab Studio and publisher Merge Games unveiled a sneak peek at a future where even your personality is up for grabs.

Trailer Time

With just over a minutes of advanced action, the new look into the world of Foreclosed reveals a narrative-driven action-shooter drenched in comic book stylings. The cell shaded animation shows off some ingenious combat mechanics during the new preview and quickly shows off the game’s brain implant abilities and hi-tech weaponry, all in an effort to build a highly diverse skill system. It also lays out the fundamental story behind this new future, where players take control of Evan Kapnos, and his attempt to escape a city out to delete him.

If you’ve missed Foreclosed under the noise made by Cybperunk 2077 then we wouldn’t be surprised but don’t let this slip you by. Apart from looking incredibly stylish, this interactive comic book come shooter mixes cyberpunk story elements with flourishes borrowed from the likes of Deus Ex and Max Payne games along with Frank Miller’s graphic novel Hard Boiled.
