Fortnite’s devs just put up 100 MILLION bucks for its competitive scene

The Fortnite creator is going all in with its first season of competitive play, offering over 100 million dollars in the prize pool. How it will be divied up and how you’ll be able to partake in a chance to win some of that loot, we don’t yet know. But expect more info in the coming weeks (like maybe, during E3?) In the 2018 – 2019 season, Epic Games will provide $100,000,000 to fund prize pools for Fortnite competitions. We’re getting behind competitive play in a big way, but our approach will be different – we plan to be more inclusive, and focused on the joy of playing and watching the game.
