The PlayStation Blog has been updated with the release date of the Horizon Zero Dawn DLC. Players can look for The Frozen Wilds DLC on November 7, 2017. It will cost $20.
The Frozen Wilds DLC
The DLC will bring a whole bunch of new content to the game including new stories, characters and experiences. Aloy will face off against new machines in an unforgiving location past the northern mountains.
We don’t know where on the timeline of events this content takes place, but it is NOT a stand-alone expansion. You will need a copy of the original game to play, so it’s very possible that Frozen Wilds takes place after the events of the original game.
