Developer HoYoverse shared the Collected Miscellany video for 5-star Cryo Catalyst Wriothesley to prepare Genshin Impact players for his banner. The Duke of the Fortress of Meropide arrives once Version 4.1 Phase 2 drops.
“Who would have thought that this ancient fortress, forged from bronze and iron, could have a new order imposed upon it? Without going into too much detail, one of the most radical new rules was the following: “Remember to claim your free welfare meal once a day.”
Wriothesley is an on-field DPS character that revolves around using Normal and Charged attacks. As is the case with any Catalyst, both types of attack deal Cryo damage.
After using his Elemental Skill, he will enter the special state that increases his resistance to interruption. If his HP is relatively high at the time, his Normal attacks that hit opponents will cause him to lose HP to increase damage. When his HP is relatively low, his Charged attacks will be enhanced to allow him to regain HP after hitting opponents with them.
After using his Elemental Burst, he will deal multiple instances of AoE Cryo damage to opponents in front of him.
