Developer HoYoverse has shared the latest character Collected Miscellany video, dedicated to the 4-star Cryo Polearm newcomer Mika.
“Gaze not on the velvety snowflakes with belittling eyes. For when the frost congeals, they can become stars of sparkling silver, offering guidance to all.”
Not to be mistaken with Inazuma’s Yae Miko, Mika is a young knight born to an ordinary family. The young man serves as a Front-Line Land Surveyor in the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company under Captain Eula. He is a support character that uses his Cryo Vision to both boost the party’s combat capabilities and heal his teammates.
His Elemental Skill can increase the Attack Speed of all active characters and his Passive Talent can strengthen the skill’s effect based on the number of enemies he hits, allowing his teammates to gain Physical Damage Bonus. His Elemental Burst can restore HP for nearby party members and, when active characters hit an opponent with a Normal Attack, Mika will help them regenerate HP once.
Mika is currently available on the latest banner, featuring a Cryo-heavy lineup:
The character banners feature the reruns of the Cryo 5-stars: Shenhe and Kamisato Ayaka. While the 4-stars Sucrose, Diona and the Mika himself enjoy a drop-rate boost. After the event wish ends, Mika will make his way to the standard banner in the next version.
Additionally, players can wish for the featured 5-stars signature weapons: Calamity Queller (Polearm) and Mistsplitter Reforged (Sword). The featured 4-star weapons are Wine and Song, Sacrificial Sword, The Bell, Favonius Lance and Favonis Warbow.
