Developer HoYoverse has taken to the official site of anime action-adventure Genshin Impact with a new impressive video dedicated to the New Year woodblock prints, bringing to life some of the Adeptal Tales. Titled “A Journey of Art and Heritage”, the video goes through a lengthy process of creating the prints, from showing off the tools to the three most important steps of bringing the Five Yakshas to life.
“The silhouettes that once vanquished evil spirits alongside Rex Lapis, as recorded in Liyue’s chronicles, are now reborn thanks to the carving knife, paper, and ink.”
Genshin Impact is currently going through the first phase of Version 3.4: The Exquisite Night Chimes that introduced two new playable characters Yaoyao and Alhaitham, opened a new region in the desert complete with exploration, quests and new world boss and more. Don’t forget to hop into the game daily to take part in the login event that will award 10 Intertwined Fates total. Lantern Rite also features the Fortuitous Invitation: you can invite a 4-star character from Liyue to join your party. You can choose between Beidou, Chongyun, Ningguang, Xiangling, Xinyan, Xingqiu, Yanfei, Yunjin and the newcomer Yaoyao. Time to get some Constellations or missing characters!
