Following the preview of the Dendro element, the developers of online adventure Genshin Impact have shared a new video dedicated to the upcoming region of Sumeru. This time, the footage is centered on the beauties of the new location that is divided into two parts: the rainforest and the desert.
“Sumeru City is nestled among the rainforest, surrounded by ancient trees and rivers. Head westward, and you will step into the realm of dust and sand. Many are the secrets hidden in the rain and sand.”
Previously, Hoyoverse also shared an unexpected cinematic trailer featuring a group of the Fatui Harbingers gathering in Snezhnaya to mourn La Signora and discuss plans moving onward. However, it is not a separate event as Collei, one of Sumeru’s characters, has a connection with the meeting.
“No one knows how long it has been since all the Fatui Harbingers last gathered. On this winter night, people donning masks who had just been singing and squabbling, fell silent in mournful meditation. Only then did the hall join the winter sky in infinite silence. Meanwhile, in distant Sumeru, Collei who has not had dreams for a long time, saw strange visions during her midday nap…”
