Developer HoYoverse released the latest update to anime action-adventure Genshin Impact. Version 3.4: The Exquisite Night Chimes introduced two new characters Yaoyao and Alhaitham, an expansion to Sumeru’s desert region and will offer players new events and opportunities.
Don’t forget to log in and take in all the goodies – from the maintenance apologems to the new character Trials and the Desert of Hadramaveth. I hope you have finished the Golden Slumber series of quests to be able to unlock and explore the new location to the fullest right away. The expanded region features new enemies, points of interest (including teleport waypoints, Domains and more) as well as a new world boss.

Genshin Impact – Version 3.4 Character & Weapon Banners
It’s time to say goodbye to Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato as well as their respective signature weapons and welcome new character & weapon banners.
- Phase I character banner features Alhaitham (5-star Dendro Sword) and Xiao (5-star Anemo Polearm) as well as a trio of 4-star characters: newcomer Yaoyao (Dendro Polearm), Yun Jin (Geo Polearm) and Xinyan (Pyro Claymore);
- Phase I weapon banner features Alhaitham’s brand new signature weapon Light of Foliar Incision (Sword) as well as Primordial Jade Winged-Spear (Polearm). The 4-star weapons include Lithic Spear (Polearm), The Flute (Sword), Rainslasher (Claymore), The Widsith (Catalyst), and Sacrificial Bow (Bow).
- Phase II character banner offers players a chance to try their luck for the long-awaited reruns of Hu Tao (5-star Pyro Polearm) and Yelan (5-star Hydro Bow). The featured 4-stars are Xingqiu (Hydro Sword), Ningguang (Geo Catalyst) and Beidou (Electro Claymore).
- Phase II weapon banner features the respective signature 5-star weapons: Staff of Homa (Polearm) and Aqua Simulacra (Bow). The 4-star weapons include Lithic Blade (Claymore) as well as Favonius Sword (Sword), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), Favonius Codex (Catalyst), and Rust (Bow).
