The first phase of Version 3.5: Windblume’s Breath is about to start in anime action-adventure Genshin Impact. To get players up to speed, developer HoYoverse has taken to the official site with the preview of the upcoming events, including the character & the weapon banner running for the next 3 weeks until March 21st.
The pre-installation function is now available on both PC and mobile platforms. The first phase features the latest 5-star character to join the roster of the game: Dehya. She is a Pyro Claymore character who enhances the survival capability of her teammates on the field.
Dehya can use her Elemental Skill to create a “Fiery Sanctum” field whereby characters within this field have their resistance to interruption increased, and when such characters take damage, a portion of that damage will be mitigated and borne by Dehya. When an opponent within a Fiery Sanctum takes damage, the field will unleash a coordinated attack, dealing Pyro damage. When unleashing her Elemental Burst, Dehya will automatically and continuously unleash the Flame-Mane’s Fists for a period of time, dealing multiple bouts of Pyro damage.

- Windblume’s Breath (March 3 – March 20) – During this festival of unparalleled love, why not come to the city upon the lake for a spell and lean to follow the floral fragnances riding the winds of freedom? In addition to seeing the usual Mondstadt cast, players will also quest alongside Collei, Cyno and Tighnari and have a chance to earn the brand-new Claymore weapon: Mailed Flower.
- Vibro-Crystal Verification event (March 14 – March 27) – during this event, equip your party with a Vibro-Crystal Harmonics Schema and take part in the challenges. Defeat the enemies within the time limit to obtain in-game rewards.
- Faruzan Hangout Event – Act I: A Confounding Conundrum. To hang out with Faruzan, you must be AR40 or above and have completed the two following quests: Archon Quest Chapter III: Act V “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises” and Tighnari’s Story Quest.
- Dehya Story Quest – Manthichora Chapter: Act I. Requires AR 40 or above and the completion of Archon Quest Chapter III: Act V “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises”.
- Archon Quest Chapter III: Act VI “Caribert” – requires Adventure Rank 35 or above and the completion of Archon Quest Chapter III: Act V “Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises”.
Additionally, the developers have revealed that new rewards will be added for Archon Quests: for each Archon Quest Act completed, Travelers will receive an Intertwined Fate. If you are currently caught up to the Archon Quests and Interludes, that means 22 Intertwined Fates once the update goes life.
- Genius Invokation TCG (March 11 – March 20) – Heated Battle Mode: The Profound Purpose of Practice. Complete the special duels to obtain the Lucky Coins rewards.
Players can also look forward to the new enemies such as the Abyss Herald: Frost Fall and Black Serpent Knight: Rockbreaker Ax.
The second phase of the update will feature another new character: Mika, a 4-star Cryo Polearm. He will be featured in the re-run banners of Kamisato Ayaka and Shenhe that will become active once Phase I is over.
