Bad joke. We’re twelve years old, sometimes here. Anyway, God of War, the next big opus from Santa Monica Studio for PS4 is finally launching on April 20th, 2018. Check out the new trailer, showing mostly cinematics (no gameplay?). It looks a lot like a great action fantasy movie, but I’m dying to see more of how the actual game itself plays. The God of War release date comes at a time when many were wondering if Sony and Microsoft were going to pull out any big guns in 2018. Sony’s got a huge field of exclusives (like Days Gone, Spider-Man, etc) to let loose this year, and it seems like God of War is beginning the party in earnest.

Microsoft’s “Big Gun” currently is “Sea Of Thieves” which goes into Closed Beta tomorrow. Additionally, all their first party games (e.g. “Sea Of Thieves”) are being added to their “XBox Games” subscription…. let the rumble begin!
Still not getting the joke… too old, am I?
