Developer HoYoverse rolled out two new “Keeping up with Star Rail” videos dedicated to the characters that have just arrived in the game. Meet the deceptively humble traveling merchant Luocha and Yukong, the Helm Master of the Luofu’s Sky-Faring Commission. Both are enjoying boosted drop rate on the currently running banner.
Yukong is a 4-star Imaginary/Harmony character. Additionally, Trailblazers will be able to get a free copy of the character in Version 1.2. Her Skill can increase the Attack of all allies for a set number of turns. Meanwhile, her Ultimate can buff her Skill and increase the CRIT Rate and CRIT Damage of all allies, as well as deal damage to a single target enemy.
One of Yukong’s traces also allows her to increase Imaginary damage dealt by allies. After using the Technique, Yukong enters Sprint mode for 20 seconds, increasing her movement speed. She also gains 2 stacks of Roaring Bowstraings when she enters the battle via attacking enemies.
“How did she transform from a street racer to the Luofu’s Helm Master? How did her rebellious streak disappear with age? What kind of secrets lie within the Madam Helm Master’s heart? Was all this a mockery of fate, or the growing pains of life?”
Luocha is a 5-star Imaginary/Abundance character that is able to recover health for his allies, dispel debuffs placed on them and remove buffs from enemies.
His Skill can restore a certain amount of HP to a single designated ally. When any ally’s HP falls to 50% or below, an effect equivalent to Luocha’s Skill will be immediately triggered. His Ultimate dispels one buff from every enemy target, and deals Imaginary damage to all enemies. Using his Skill or Ultimate will accumulate stacks of Abyss Flower. When it reaches 2 stacks, consume all Abyss Flowers to deploy a Field. If any enemy within the Field is attacked, the ally that launched the attack will immediately restore a certain amount of HP.
“A mysterious merchant with a coffin. An enigmatic and ominous past… Just what is hiding within the coffin that he keeps by his side? Why does no one know the answer to that question? Was it due to horrified aversion, or curious apprehension?”
