Developer HoYoverse continues to give players glimpses forward as they travel among the stars. While the developers have already revealed the date of Version 1.6 Special Program, it is no reason to stop! The official HoYolab page has been updated with an introduction for a trio of new characters. They will be joining the game in Version 2.0 – that’s right, a brand new version is coming! Meet Black Swan, Sparkle and Misha.
Black Swan made a few brief appearances in trailers before, including the Myriad Celestia series and the recent Acheron glimpse. Black Swan is a 5-star Wind Nihility character.
She is a Memokeeper of the Garden of Recollection. A mysterious and elegant soothsayer that bears a warm smile and is willing to patiently heed the words of another, and thus uses such means as a pretext to enter “memories” and gain a comprehension over the flow of all information. Feels strongly about collecting unique memories, yet the thoughts that guide her are hard to glean.
“If I can identify and encapsulate a fragment of memory before it’s unveiled to the world, those solitary moments of delight are my most favored and unique memories.”
Sparkle is the latest addition to the Quantum girl team and the long-awaited 5-star Harmony one at that! Sparkle is a member of the Masked Fools, inscrutable and unscrupulous. A dangerous master of theatrics engrossed in playing roles. A woman of countless masks and many faces. Wealth, status, power… None of this matters to Sparkle. The only thing that can lure her interest is “amusement.”
“I’m not exactly a person loaded with cool skills, and dreaming big isn’t really my thing. But, ya know, my latest thing is… getting myself into the Genius Society! Ha, I’m so ready to give it a go. Reckon anyone will buy it?”
Last but not least, Misha is the latest 4-star addition to the game and our first Ice Destruction character. Misha is a lovable and thoughtful bellboy of The Reverie Hotel. He wishes to become an intergalactic adventurer like his grandfather. He is extremely hardworking and is skilled at fixing a variety of machines. He also had a fondness for sharing interstellar rumors with guests. He hopes he can grow up faster and looks forward to embarking on his own star-treading journey.
“I’m going to work really hard, so I can save up and explore the stars just like grown-ups do!”
