Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.1 “Into the Yawning Chasm” is about to kick off. To bring players up to speed on everything that awaits them once the update lands on March 27, the developers from HoYoverse have taken to HoYolab with the Version 2.1 events overview. Let’s check out what’s in store!
First things first: banners and free rolls! As the patch 2.1 marks the first anniversary of Honkai: Star Rail, players are getting some free Special Passes and Stellar Jade. On March 27th, the game will kick off Festive Gifts check-in event that will award a total of 20 Star Rail Special passes over the course of 7 days.
Additionally, players will get an extra Stellar Jades x 1,600 on the day of Star Rail celebrates its first birthday: April 26th! Note that the date lands on the second phase of the version, so you will not be able to use these 10 rolls on Acheron, Luocha, or their respective Light Cones.
The rest of your hard-earned Stellar Jades will be coming from the in-game events, daily quests, weekly SU, MoC/Pure Fiction, and so forth.
Honkai: Star Rail – Version 2.1 Events and Additions Include:
- New Trailblaze Mission “The Devil in Velvet”;
- One-Year Anniversary Event Cosmodyssey (March 27 – May 6). Participate in the event, accumulate Trailblaze Funds, and obtain generous rewards: Self-Modeling Resin x1, Tracks of Destiny x1, Stellar Jade x1,000, and more.
- Festive Gifts (March 27 to May 7) – 20 Star Rail Special passes over the course of 7 days for checking in;
- Anniversary Celebration Mail (April 26) – Stellar Jade x1600 in your in-game mail;
- Planar Fissure 300% (April 10 – April 17) – Extra drops from Simulated Universe;
- Realm of the Strange 300% (April 26 – May 3) – Bonus drops from Caverns of Corrosion;
- Vignettes in a Cup (March 29 – May 6) – the manager of the Dreamjolt Holstery is away and has entrusted you to take over the role of the drinksmith. Includes post-launch 4-star selector, so don’t miss out!
- Tides of War (April 13 – May 6) – Challenge the fighting game in the Memory Bubble to obtain generous rewards;
