Square Enix has announced the dates for the annual Final Fantasy XIV Valentione’s Day — not to be confused with Valentine’s Day (despite the obvious…). The MMO’s yearly in-game event is slated to begin on Wednesday, February 7th and will run through Wednesday, February 21st. During the event, players can shower their loved ones with affection and showcase the season of love.
How to Participate
- Speak with Astrid in Old Gridania to kick off the initial quest.
- Progress through the questline to unlock the Love Heart Emote. Devs say that using it with different facial expressions is entertaining.
- Players can also purchase the Valentione’s Heart Chair from the event vendor using a special currency earned during gameplay.
