AOC just hacked back the entry cost for MiniLED gaming with the reveal of the AOC Gaming Q27G3XMN/BK.
For £349.99 or local equivalent, gamers looking for gaming level performance, QHD resolution, and some stellar MiniLED tech can grab the new Q27G3XMN/BK soon. Due to arrive in stores and online between late November and early December, the latest 27-inch display from AOC’s gaming brand provides a solid gaming experience with some impressive picture quality. While other gaming displays might boast about a higher resolution that this QHD (2560×1440) display, there is more to an immersive experience than a flat panel.
The miniscule nature of the MiniLED backlighting tech provides a very high density of individual lighting components. A total of 336 dimming zones back up the fast VA panel and give the Q27G3XMN/BK a VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. Couple that with 10-bit color depth and you’re likely to get incredible dynamic range using this monitor.
The AOC Gaming Q27G3XMN/BK still manages to clock in a decent response time, despite the heavy focus on selling the dynamic range of this display. 180Hz refresh rates sit alongside a 5ms GtG response time, with all the usual AOC additions. Adaptive-Sync, shadow control, overdrive that can reach 1ms GtG, AOC G-Menu integration, and more all come included. For more, do some window shopping on the AOC website.
