Lin-Manuel Miranda has official confirmed that the original Broadway cast all played their respective roles in the Hamilton movie and I’m not going to be able to focus on anything else today. Variety‘s 31-second clip from their interview shows an excited Miranda exclaiming that they filmed the show a week before the beginning cast members started to leave.
Lin-Manuel Miranda talks about finding the right time to release the #Hamilton movie: “You all have that friend who brags, 'I saw that with the original cast.' We’re stealing that brag from everyone. You’re all gonna see it with the original cast" | Studio presented by @ItsOnATT pic.twitter.com/zum7otFexr

HamFam rejoice. If you couldn’t afford to see Hamilton on Broadway with its original cast, you’ll now get that chance.
I AM NOT THROWING AWAY MY SHOT.
About Hamilton
Hamilton is the story of the unlikely Founding Father determined to make his mark on the new nation as hungry and ambitious as he is. From bastard orphan to Washington’s right-hand man, rebel to war hero, a loving husband caught in the country’s first sex scandal, to the Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy. George Washington, Eliza Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson and Hamilton’s lifelong friend/foil Aaron Burr all make their mark in this astonishing new musical exploration of a political mastermind.
