Annapurna Interactive and Mobius Digital have revealed the planned date for the Steam release of action-adventure Outer Wilds. Prep your spaceships, strap on your hiking boots and check out oxygen levels – Outer Wilds launches on Steam on June 18th.
What will you do stuck in an endless time loop, doomed to relive the 20 minutes before the solar system is snuffed out by a supernova? Will you attempt to get to the heart of the matter, track down mysterious signals, decipher ancient alien writing and attempt to break the cycle? Or are you more of a roast a perfect marshmallow type of players? Worry not, Outer Wilds has a place for both!
The planets of Outer Wilds are packed with hidden locations that change with the passage of time. Visit an underground city of before it’s swallowed by sand, or explore the surface of a planet as it crumbles beneath your feet. Every secret is guarded by hazardous environments and natural catastrophes.
What lurks in the heart of the ominous Dark Bramble? Who built the alien ruins on the Moon? Can the endless time loop even be stopped? Answers await you in the most dangerous reaches of space.
