The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition To Launch March 7

Obsidian Entertainment, Private Division and Virtuous have announced that The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition will be available on March 7th. This version of the game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The developers describe it as the ultimate way for new and returning fans alike to experience The Outer Worlds. Spacer’s Choice Edition features higher resolution graphics, a dynamic weather system, overhauled lighting and environments, improved performance and load times, enhanced details on characters, an increased level cap, and much more – provided you are brave enough to venture to Halcyon colony.

This new edition includes the base game and both released DLCs: Murder on Eridanos and Peril on Gorgon. Players who already own The Outer Worlds and its associated DLCs for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or PC can upgrade to the Spacer’s Choice Edition for the latest generation of console or, if applicable, from that same PC store at a reduced price.

About The Outer Worlds:

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.
