Developer Blizzard Entertainment kicked off the latest season of competitive hero shooter Overwatch 2. Season 9: Champions brings in a new event, changes to the competitive, new Jade Weapon rewards, and the new rank of Champion. Blizzard calls upon players to embody eldritch horrors with the Season 9 Battle Pass, and unlock the newest Mythic Skin: Ancient Caller Moira, and work together as a team to stop waves of enemies in the new Hero Mastery: Gauntlet.
With Season 9 available, player scan dive into the Cosmic Crisis 4-player co-op event. It explores a non-canon story that will test your loyalty to your teammates. Cosmic Crisis has unique objectives that change between playthroughs. Each game presents one player with a choice that will determine the fate of your team. Will you work together to escape the Ravager? Or will you give into temptation and be consumed by darkness?
Every week will feature new Mission Modifiers that change up gameplay. Cosmic Crisis is available now through March 12.
