Play World of Warcraft for Free This Weekend

World of Warcraft Free Weekend

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that it is hosting a World of Warcraft free-play weekend from now through November 20th. Whether you are a lapsed player or someone looking to try out one of the most successful MMORPGs in the world, this is a golden opportunity. The free weekend comes just ahead of the Dragonflight expansion launch on November 28th.

During the free-play event, players will have access to all expansions, including Shadowlands. Lapsed players will be able to play any or all of their characters through the game’s entirety, including Tempest Unleashed, the Dragonflight pre-event. Any progress made or items collected will remain on player accounts once the event ends and will be available for those who opt to re-subscribe to WoW.

New and curious players can start a sparkling new level 1 character and try out the new starting zone. Alternately, those who prefer to explore the racial starting zones can do so as well. Once reaching level 10, players can head straight to Battle for Azeroth content, or they can speak to Chromie to opt for a Timewalking Campaign set in any of the game’s previous expansions. Allied race characters will begin at level 10; non-allied race Death Knights and Demon Hunters will begin at level 8 and end up at level 10 once their class area is complete.
