Those of you in the old world might just be settling down to a well-earned Friday night like me, melting onto the settee, as we call it in the motherland, and logging into you PlayStation to enjoy some archaic online action. Not so fast. A technical glitch over at PlayStation appears to have banned a swathe of UK PSN accounts. PSN hiccup bans UK accounts
As far back as Thursday evening, PlayStation support and social media appear to have been awash with complaints. Impacted players will generally find PSN charges refunded to their corresponding PayPal accounts and correlating PSN logins completely unusable. As yet, there has been no official word on the exact cause of the outage from PlayStation or PayPal and the following tweet remains pinned on the Ask @PlaystationUK Twitter account.
