During Sony’s E3 showcase, Remedy Entertainment and 505 Games revealed their highly anticipated project, Control.
Previously known only in whispers as P7, the game puts you in the boots of Jesse Faden the newest director of the Federal Bureau of Control. After their agency in New York is raided by an otherworldly threat, you must piece together some sense of order in an ever-changing world that bridges the natural with the supernatural. Built on the proprietary Northlight engine, you will be challenged with mastering supernatural abilities, reactive environments, and customizable equipment load outs to navigate the mysteries that lie before you.
“Control represents a new exciting chapter for us, it redefines what a Remedy game is. It shows off our unique ability to build compelling worlds while providing a new player-driven way to experience them,” said Control game director Mikael Kasurinen. “A key focus for Remedy has been to provide more agency through gameplay and allow our audience to experience the story of the world at their own pace”
The game is expected to release in 2019 on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4.
