Sloclap has announced that the free Arenas expansion for Sifi will be included in the PC and Xbox versions when they launch on March 28, 2023. Arenas will also be released that same day for all other platforms. Xbox pre-orders are now open, and players can purchase a game copy for $39.99. Steam fans can wishlist the game ahead of its launch later this month.
To set the stage for Arena mode, the development team released a trailer showcasing all the action.
The expansion offers players nine new locations to explore and a whopping 45 “merciless challenges” across five different game modes. Arenas provides and additional ten hours of gameplay action. Developers promise that Kung Fu Masters will be pushed to their limits against waves of enemies in Survival Mode. Performance Mode requires perfection to succeed. Time Attack pits players against the clock. Capture Mode makes players take and hold a marked area. Manhunt Mode marks a specific target surrounded by protectors that needs to be eliminated.
A beat ‘em up tale of vengeance, Sifu places players in the shoes of a young Pak Mei Kung-Fu student who, following the murder of their master, embarks on an epic quest for revenge. Fuelled by years of training that has turned them into an unstoppable force, players will hunt down the terrifying warriors who slaughtered their master years ago, as well as the countless goons guarding them.
