With action RPG Steelrising out for a couple of weeks, developer Spiders and publisher Nacon have shared the Accolade trailer to show off what critics think about the title.
The Revolution has been suppressed with bloodshed by Louis XVI and his merciless mechanical army. It falls to Aegis, an engineering marvel, to take on the king’s ranks of automatons and change the course of history in alternative Paris of 1789. Engage in ruthless and intense fights against technological marvels that are as complex as they are unforgiving. Your nerves and skills will be tested to their limits at every moment spent battling these relentless enemies and epic bosses.
Additionally, the developers have taken to Steam to reveal that New Game Plus mode is coming to Steelrising on September 29. If you want to experience tougher times for the Revolution, you get to bring your weapons, levels, gear and upgrades but the enemies will be having some improvements of their own.
For those more interested in classic fantasy, Spiders is also working on a second game in the Greedfall series. The events of GreedFall 2: The Dying World take place three years before the story of Constantin and De Sardet unfolds. This time you play as a native of Teer Fradee, uprooted from your home and taken to the continent of Gacane. As the world is ravaged by war and scarred by the Malichor, you must use diplomacy, cunning and combat as well as a help of new allies to regain your freedom and put an end to one man’s ambitions of conquest.
