The World of Warcraft Youtube channel has shared a new trailer dedicated to the imminent arrival of Wrath of the Lich King Classic. The icy wasteland of Northrend awaits players on September 26th.
Community content creator Hurricane, famous for his WoW trailers such as Naxxramas and Black Temple, is back with a new video dedicated to the return to Northrend. In the trailer above, you can see the forces of the Alliance and the Horde take on the dangers of the expansion: the forces of the Scourge led by the Lich King, the madness of the Aspect of Magic and much more.
Previously, Blizzard also shared a trailer dedicated to the story of one of WoW’s most iconic villains: the fallen Lordaeron prince Arthas Menethil, better known to the community as the Lich King. Narrated by Jaina Proudmoore, the video follows the tragic story of Arthas and the events that led him to pick up Frostmourne, ascend the Frozen Throne and don the Helm of Domination, becoming the master of the Scourge.
For those more driven by gameplay additions, the pre-patch and the launch of Wrath of the Lich King Classic also offers a way to earn a new mount for the retail servers. Every player that has completed the Death Knight starting experience in WotLK Classic will receive the Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm mount in the retail version of the game.
