Developer Blizzard Entertainment has shared a new announcement and a way for players to earn an epic mount in World of Warcraft to ride now and after the release of Dragonflight. Are you up for grabbing a free Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm?
The pre-patch for Wrath of the Lich King Classic is now live. With it, players can play as the Death Knight Hero Class before making their way into the frozen lands of Northrend to confront the Lich King. Every player that has completed the Death Knight starting experience questchain in Wrath of the Lich King Classic will receive the Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm mount in the retail version of the game. “Few proto-dragons were considered part of the frostbrood—only those that were risen from powerful remains, the members of long forgotten draconic flights.”
The Wrath of the Lich King Classic pre-patch has the following schedule:
- September 6-13: Zombie Plague Event – A mysterious affliction will be making its way through the capital cities and players will need to be alert to avoid falling victim to its deadly effects
- September 13-launch: Scourge Invasion Events – In various locations throughout Azeroth, players will garner powerful rewards by coordinating a defensive stand against an attacking Necropolis and defeating Scourge forces on the ground level where crystals appear.
Following the fight against the Scourge minions on the territories of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms, it is time to take the fight to Northrend. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Classic launches on September 26. Will you be bringing Death Knights to battle?
