Super NES Classic Edition Inventory to Increase to Meet Demand

If you’ve been lamenting being able to get your hands on a Super NES Classic Edition, you may be in luck. Nintendo has plans to increase inventory as well as extending production into 2018.

You’ll be able to get your hands on the SNES mini-console starting September 29th. Well, that’s if you’re lucky. Your chances have increased, however, thanks to Nintendo committing to ship more units than were shipped for the NES Classic last year.  The company also plans to ship more units “with shipments arriving in stores regularly”.

If you’re lucky enough to score a mini-console, you’ll be able to play some of Nintendo’s best games. They’ve included The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Metroid and Super Mario World. These are in addition to 18 other titles.

The games have been updated for a new era with features like Rewind, Demo Mode as well as the Frame feature.
